Lounsbury Associates Companies is searching for an ideal candidate for a full time Shop QC Inspector.  The ideal candidate must be competent in the following:

1. 5 years’ experience as Code Welder, Quality Inspector or equivalent knowledge
2. Must be able to interpret and understand Piping Isometric drawings, Complex structural and Vessel drawings, Assembly drawings, P&ID’s etc.
3. Oversee all welding activities of the welding staff and make sure that the welders work within the quality expectations set by the QC Manager as well as codes, standards and specifications.
4. Required to have advanced knowledge of most welding processes and be familiar with common requirements and parameters.
5. Be able to identify welding defects and rejectable discontinuities and to identify them to the welder. Also, to assist and participate in problem solving when issues with defects or discontinuities arise.
6. Work independently with some direction by using inspection procedure checklists as work instructions.
7. Candidate must be familiar with VT/PT/UT/MT and RT.
8. Must be meticulous about capturing and retaining information
9. Must have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
10. Must be able to work in a team environment and be able to explain issues clearly.
11. Must have working knowledge of mathematical and measurement principles.

Lounsbury Associates Companies is searching for an ideal candidate for upcoming fabrication shop projects. Candidate must have, at a minimum (2) years in the Construction Fabrication shop setting as a Fitter/Welder. Candidate must be proficient in either Structural, Vessel and/or Pipe Welding/Fitting. Top Pay goes to the candidate who possesses a mastery in all three. The candidate will be drug free (Must past drug screening background check and physical at hire). The candidate will be drug free (Must past screening background check and physical at hire). The ideal candidate must also be competent in the following: 

1. Demonstrate the ability to effectively inspect all rigging gear including the knowledge of removal criteria as outlined in API RP 2D specifications OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.180 regulation.
2. Demonstrates the knowledge of basic rigging techniques and can effectively communicate hand signals to the Crane Operation and other riggers (i.e., visual, radio, etc.)
3. Demonstrates competency towards identifying the load weight and communicating the same to the Crane Operator in order to determine the appropriate load block needed to safely lift and place the load in a specific location.
4. Demonstrates the ability to properly attach rigging gear to loads in preparation for moving.
5. Demonstrates the ability to competently and safely control suspended loads by use of tag lines and communication signals to Crane Operator.
